Land Without Dogs
It’s a little known fact that Che Guevara liked to kill dogs, but like life itself, the world sometimes has a stubborn fashion in giving up its truths. Who would ever guess that the quote, “But those enemies of mine, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me,” was Jesus himself. (Luke 19:27). The West’s invaluable morons love to romanticize idols like Che and Jesus, but that I know of, Jesus – if such a person existed – unlike Muhammad, had nothing against dogs. From Muslim Hadith #5248: “Maimuna reported that one morning Allah's Messenger (Muhammad) was silent with grief. Maimuna said: Allah’s Messenger, I find a change in your mood today. Mohammed said: ‘Gabriel had promised me that he would meet me tonight, but he did not meet me. By Allah, he never broke his promises.’ And Allah's Messenger spent the day in this sad mood. Then it occurred to him that there had been a puppy under their cot. He commanded and it was turned out. He then took some water in his hand and sprinkled it at that place. When it was evening Gabriel met him and he said to him: ‘You promised me that you would meet me the previous night.’ The angel said: ‘Yes, but we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.’ Then on that very morning Mohammed commanded the killing of the dogs until he announced that the dog kept for the orchards should also be killed, but he spared the dog meant for the protection of extensive fields or big gardens.”
Who hates dogs?
That’s motherhood and baby-doll
I used to think Christian Fundamentalists were virulent xenophobic fascists but compared to modern Islamist extremists they’re downright tree-hugging socialists. The Quran and Muhammad lean into ideas like that women are inferior and that unbelievers are unclean. You just can’t imagine any major worldwide religion believing in such nonsense. When I was a young Catholic and altar boy I was taught to fear above all things, excommunication – and also to love your neighbor as yourself – but when I first became an atheist at 14 years old, no one threatened to kill me. In fact no one even hinted to expel me from the Catholic Church. I think my society yawned and curled its eyes a little. Some nun or Catholic teacher may have patted me on the head like I was a good puppy, and you know what? I was a good puppy. I hid it from my parents and never hurled insult or showed disrespect with ideas I now completely loath and consider far inferior to secular humanism. Imagine then on reading the works of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Ibn Warraq and Bernard Lewis how shocked I was that if you are Muslim and publicly become an apostate (their word for unbelief, atheism and rejection of Islam or conversion to another faith) in an Islamic country, that you’re endangering your life and your family’s, of losing your property, of being declared anathema! Apparently, there is less fear of testifying against organized criminals than declaring apostasy in the community of Muslims. That’s just sad. One wants a rational discussion of Islam (and all religions) but here one has to be truly brave against this brazen bullying. Shining a light on this darkness – bating the bully – might actually get you killed. They want us to live in a world where only Muslims have freedom of speech and you can’t make fun of them even though they want to institute Sharia Law which could effect many a non-Muslim’s life. If that old Taosists saw that the weakness of a proposition is inversely proportional to how violently it is proposed, is true, then this is certainly an example. One who is too insistent on his own views, finds few to agree with him without the use of force.
This Much Religious Ignorance is No Accident

I hate to quote the Quran, not because it puts things out of context when you do – comments like this can’t be ‘that’ misinterpreted – but because the book itself is so mind-numbing and irrelevant. However, I will use a few short quotes, just keeping in mind if you haven’t read the Quran, that hundreds of such citations disgrace its pages. These quotations are taken from Leaving Islam. Sorry, I just couldn’t read the Koran again, it’s just too ridiculous to spend another second searching through. It’s like the bible. You come across story after story such as where god has a group of children eaten by bears for snickering at an elder’s baldness. (2 Kings 2:23-24) Where’s the point of inventing a god like that? It’s just Freddy Krueger with a beard. The Quran justifies violence against women: “Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. God is high, supreme.” (IV.34) The Quran justifies violence against unbelievers and members of other faiths: “Lo! those who disbelieve after their (profession of) belief, and afterward grow violent in disbelief: their repentance will not be accepted. And such are those who are astray. Lo! those who disbelieve, and die in disbelief, the (whole) earth full of gold would not be accepted from such an one if it were offered as a ransom (for his soul). Theirs will be a painful doom and they will have no helpers.” (III. 90-91) “They would have you disbelieve as they themselves have disbelieved, so that you may be all like alike. Do not befriend them until they have fled their homes for the cause of God. If they desert you seize them and put them to death wherever you find them. Look for neither friends nor helpers among them.” (IV.89) “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as friends, they are but friends to one another.” (V.51) The Koran tells Muslims to kill the disbelievers wherever they find them (II. 191), to fight them and treat them harshly (IX.123), slay them (IX.5), fight with them (VIII.65), even if they are Christians or Jews, humiliate them and impose on them a penalty tax (IX.29), strive hard against them (IX.73; XXV.52; LXVI.9).
Well that’s enough, we could do likewise for the New and Old Testaments of the Bible and I quoted them to some extent in Atheism, Scepticism and Philosophy, but the point is, if you can trace Plato and neoplatonic mysticism to Jesus and Christian mystical imperialism developing into the full-fledged Dark Ages, I think it isn’t a stretch to hold Marx’s philosophy accountable for democide figures and a lack of human rights in communist countries, and thus so, the Quran and Muhammad responsible for Islamic chauvinism, terrorism, and a lack of human rights in Muslim countries. And the next time you see some idiot-wind wearing a Che t-shirt remember it wasn’t only dogs he liked to kill, he was truly an ideological mass murderer, he didn't believe in free elections, he was a homophobe, a failed doctor and an incompetent revolutionary. As for Muhammad, the man was touched with divine madness, and who needs 15 wives, one of them a slave and another a 9 year old girl? Fifteen? Imagine? One spouse gives a head full of thorns, that many will make you produce all those poison thistles of the the Medina garden.
I read somewhere back that Iran introduced legislation to outlaw dogs as pets. What can you say to this? It rates right up there with going to hell for eating meat on Friday. (In case you are too young to remember, the Catholic Church took a centuries’ old tradition and posed it as a moral imperative to help the economically depressed maritime fisheries). “O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Qur’an 5:101-102). Of course there are lots of dogs in Israel and most of them are treated better than the Palestinians in the occupied territories. The devout Fundamentalist Jews of Israel steal the land right out from under Palestinians as they struggle for a national voice. They are more and more anguished. For shame. Hitch was right, religion, indeed, poisons everything.
There are Communists, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims who I know and love. They have been kind, loving and wonderful to me despite that I am outspoken in my views about socialism, religion and supernaturalism. While some cowardice of the West’s liberal media is particularly disappointing when it comes to religion, that too is evolving, as it must. What’s important in a secular society is that we can talk, disagree, criticize each other and get on with life with mutual respect and without violence. Remember, war is a human habit. There are Christians married to Muslims, atheists to devout religionists and Jews to Christians. Tolerance though is yet to be learned by Islamic nations. It has been acquired by the West over many eons, and that’s why we have such an dynamic organic culture which someday will grace the entire world with democracy, openness, constitutionally-protected human rights and other rational attributes of the West. And speaking of democracy and Jews, there is one thing I'd like to ask Israel. Where are the Palestinians suppose to live? Well, one solution might be to annex -- with Israeli's reparation -- a similiar land-size to what the Palestinians currently possess from the Germans, with the proviso, 'You do this for us and we'll cancel all future guilt for the Holocaust.' Just like in a Catholic confession, all will be forgiven and you can never mention it again. Then the Palestinians will be in the one wedge of the world to which you can bet a becky the Jews will never return. And as a bonus, the Palestinians might even learn a work-ethic from the most productive people on the planet, the Nazi efficiency of The Final Solution of the Jewish Question proves that.
